We have once again enjoyed an extremely successful floodlit league over 4 weeks, with mostly warm and sunny weather.
Each of the 3 divisions was hard fought with perhaps Knowle being the stand out performers. They won division 3 in convincing style dropping only 3 points during their 5 matches.
A superb achievement. Division 2 was equally exciting, with the winners only being decided on the last round of games.
It was still very much between Page Park and Henleaze with Bradley Stoke nipping at their heals. In the end Page came through winning by 2 points ahead of Henleaze.
Division 1 was always going to be a close thing between the giants of Olveston and GBs. Again, this could have gone either way, but GBs having been leading the division since the first game, came out as winners.
It was a very enjoyable competition and particularly nice to have received such lovely comments from a very large number of those people taking part.
Registration forms for next years floodlit league will be posted to club secretaries in December requesting the completed forms, together with the fee of £40 to be returned by the end of January.
